"I was a straight A student. In my sophomore year, I went to the doctor for back pain. I had deteriorated disks. The doctor gave me percocets and told me they weren't addictive. He lied. My life was hell. I even dropped out of school. It took a whole year to rid my body of this disease. But I was lucky. If I hadn't received proper treatment, I know I would be dead right now."
